Stalls and a Classmate

At the imperial city center, around the central castle is the metropolitan center. Extending north south east and west of the central castle are wide boulevards. The north boulevard was a shopping street lined with NPC shops. The east street was lined with craftsman shops, and to the south was Beginners’ Square which was made into a plaza.

I had to go to the north area to replace my swords. I had to pass through the central metropolitan area to go to the north because I walked through the plaza after I entered through the south gate. I was a little surprised at the spectacle at the beginner square. At the beginner square, a lot of stalls have now replaced the large number of players there was during the game release. It is good to look at the stalls because the assortment has now increased.

「You can understand it by considering this. We can buy materials that the players have hunted. And from those materials we make finished items. And then those players buy the Items with the money they got by selling the materials. The players who have good items accelerate the progression rate of the game. The game progresses faster than playing for a while with the initial equipment, right? 」(Shopkeeper Onee-san)

I was satisfied with Onee-sans answer. Usually production workers make the more powerful weapons common in MMOs. Also the game will advance faster with more powerful weapons, which in turn will make more production material easier to obtain. It could also raise the number of production workers which could also raise the number of weapons made.  This makes item circulation easier. For that reason the production workers were boosted after the Opening.

I immediately equip after paying the amount.Equipped armor in Angel in Online is different from other RPGs. There is a difference in armor for each part of the body

First is the Underwear column;

Under wear top, and underwear bottom.

And then the clothes column;

Head, neck, torso, hips, arms, hands, legs, feet,

And the armor column;

Head, Armor, waist, arms, hands, legs, feet, and shield

And finally the accessory column;

Head, face, ear x2, wrist x2, finger x2, back,

Total there are 28 equipment columns.

If you ask Ai-ON why there is so many equipment slots think this, If you change equipment from “travelers clothes” to “Iron Armor” are you naked under it? This solution has come from this problem. By having clothes set up under the “Iron Armor,” would have the character be wearing the clothes under the Armor.

It’s possible that the clothes cannot be seen under the armor. Although some clothes and armor cannot be equipped together. This is what AI-On settled with. And because armor can be equipped onto clothes, the defense of both armor and clothes add up. Because of this armor can be equipped to any character class. However, there is a penalty to movement and status for classes not requiring armor. For example, someone of a magic job may be equipped with an armor that might not have the muscle strength to use.

I equipped the armor on top of the initial adventurers’ clothes equipment. Even with that, the MOE skill changed the Mahou Shoujo’s clothing into a more armored design.

「Nn? I think you equipped it? what is that?」(Shopkeeper Onee-san)

Onee-san asked the question head on.

「Ahahah, It’s a trade secret.」(Fenrir)

I say thanks to Onee-san, whose name is Asagiri-san, and then I leave the stall.

The person I walked into was a girl about 14 years old with black hair in a pony tail giving off a feeling of a warrior.

The girl had a startled expression while apologizing.

I wonder if becoming a Mahou Shoujo is something girls of this age want to be.

Right after I find Light-san’s stall on the street of vendors. I purchase six swords as spares. The swords at the stall recommended by Morning Mist had higher attack power than the other stalls. I was looked at thankfully because I purchased six swords.

I find a inn to stay at because it’s almost time for dinner. Logging out in the wrong place in Angel in Online is severe. If you log out in the field the body remains in place for three minutes. When someone’s HP becomes zero in this state, all of your items can be dropped. Of these items even the equipment will be dropped. (Except for underwear). To log out in the field, one has to set up a camping set. One ca safely log out if one is deployed. Even if it requires three minutes as well, the camping set is necessary. Why? It is to prevent immediate log outs similar to using teleport items in other MMO’s.

In the Town, Logging out isn’t as severe. In the city the body will remain in place for one minute. And in this state, if HP reaches zero only several random items will be dropped. So, to go to an inn to safely log out in AI-ON is common sense.

I look for a decent inn that looks good while walking down the street.  Of the inns on this street, I exclude the upscale inns, looking for one with a meal then to sleep.

Superb Omurice

Was the name that stood out. I decided to enter the inn. Inside were a good looking husband and a stout auntie.

「Welcome, Are you staying?」

「Yes, I’d like to stay for about ten days. Do you have a vacant room?」(Fenrir)

「Hey, Im a diehard gamer. It would be you who is a person not suited for a VRMMO.」(Ogami)

Narusawa is one of the popular high school girls. She is lively but calm with everyone. Boys like to eye her because she is pretty. I am also one of them. It’s lucky I met her here.

「Ahaha I can blame my older brother for being affected by the VRMMO, my brother is a an advent. I used to play his Lord of World Online without his permission.」(Narusawa)

「Eh? I did not play Lord of World Online. Did you mean VRMMO veteran? That? If he was a VRMMO veteran why did he get an free subscription.」(Ogami) (TL:not sure of this sentence)
